I think I would go straight to a K1300 - I do like the checkerboard but somehow the K1200 feels like it is neither a classic brick like my K100RS nor a super modern beast like the K1300 S

I also think I am too short for a GT - at 5'6" the K100RS is a stretch even with the low seat - not sure I could handle the extra weight of the GT.  :falldown:

I have an '04 K1200GT. I love it!

I've been looking at a slant engine 2007 K1200GT. Love the look of the newer ones but the bike has 80,000 miles on it and I've made the mistake of looking at other forums, which often tell only the bad.
It's got everything: ESA, heated seats, etc. along with some minor paint scrapes. The Yamaha dealer is asking $5800 and I'm on the fence.
