86 K100 Luftmeister Fairing, 60K, $3000
« on: March 11, 2017, 11:35:20 AM »
Hello,
I was steered here from another BMW K site.
I traded a Buell S1 for this K100, rode it a few times and am thinking of selling it to buy another Triumph Sprint.
What I can tell you is that it runs fine, starts right up and it needs fresh tires, steel braided brake lines, Ferodo pads, indicator lights and a general going over to get it ready for the riding season.
The bike is in good shape but it's not perfect.  Fox shock, San Jose BMW fork brace, Luftmesiter fairing and I believe that's it as far as aftermarket items go.
Comes with the original manuals, tool kit, spare key and is located in Central PA (between Harrisburg and Baltimore).

That's a 1985, not an '86 (judging from the saddle).

:nono   The eleventh commandment thou shalt not covet thou neighbors bike nor his fairing. Thou can however kick his ass and steal his bike complete with fairing.  :hehehe

I am beginning to covet the garage space the wife's new SUV is taking up.  :nono

She needs a Miata - that leaves space for an extra bike and she still has somewhere to park her car...

I stand corrected, the Title says 1985.
It moves right along, I'm afraid I did have to  open it up once or twice to see what it would do... :riding:

BTW, cars go in the driveway, garages are reserved for motorcycles.

Yeah, my wife has some trouble understanding that.  Fortunately, it's her only negative.
