Rear wheel hub, drive shaft cover and portion of engine covers was not powder coated as part of the build. Gave a thorough clean using oven cleaner this morning. Outcome was quite satisfying.

Did you make the bracket for the license plate or purchased it?

eBay-ed it then powder coated. Ghosted the K75 badge on it too.
I think this was the one.

That looks great. What's the trick with the oven cleaner. I've heard good and bad things about it. Some say it turns the alloy grey but yours looks good :2thumbup: .

Depends on the moderator I guess. I used the Easy Off Fume Free cleaner from Walmart. It was around 5 bucks. Applied to smaller areas, waited for 10 to 12 minutes, made sure the area is wet, then rubbed the crap using scotchbrite. Repeated it 3 to 4 times.
This video was my inspiration and followed what he did with oven cleaner:

Great build and an inspiration. What headlight did you use? It looks exactly what I'm looking for. I'm debating on using used OEM of any brand VS Chinese eBay.

Fellow Brickers, my next project is swapping headlight of my custom K75 with a standard 7" angel eye type. I have been searching for a non cheapo option with DRL, not having any luck. Any suggestion will be appreciated?
