Engine has been thoroughly cleaned, gunk, grime removed and reassembled. Waiting for a new radiator hose before firing for the first time after overhaul. Exciting times !!!!!

Just curious, what was the cost of the engine work?  How did the rebuilder handle the carbide cylinder lining?  Were they just able to run a conventional cylinder hone through the bore?

You know what? In the future this may be someone's version of a vision.

You can finance an engine rebuild with the sale of the plastics...

What an odd arrangement. Post your pieces up for sale.

Seats were ordered on 3/18, scheduled to be delivered first week of April some time. It should be fairly simple bolt on after chopping the rear frame.

Ordering this aftermarket Acewell tomorrow. Could be tricky to install, let us see how it goes. Fellow brickers any one had experience with this beauty before.

Two possible outcomes, either it works or it does not. If it works, good for me. If it does not, I will make it to work. Let's see how it goes. Thank you for the heads up.

It'll work great. Get yourself an MSD 8918 for the tach and you can always use the supplied magnets for the speedo if a brotbox or tgpi 4.0 isn't purchased.

Engine rebuild just labor was 517 USD. Parts extra. I have emailed about the carbide query to the builder, will update once I have an answer.

Parts are back after powder coating. Got engine covers accented and wheels pinstriped by myself. It did not come out as expected, but overall quite satisfied with results.
