1985 K100 LT conversion to round standard headlight

Hello All,
Have removed my fairing and purchased a standard headlight (round) and associated headlight fairing. Question - are specific headlight brackets needed for the round headlight?

to see illustrations and a bit of explanation concerning this assembly. Attached is the part illustrated (red arrow) in the MAX BMW fiche.

Yes, I do have the back panel. I was thinking that an additional bracket was needed. Your included diagram makes it pretty clear. That is very helpful. Thanks very much for the clarification.
