Patience, Brad-Man. It's going to be tremendous. In the meantime, here's one to look at.

The current front end showing headlight and bracket from Speed Moto Co. , awaiting replacement of fork brace / fender mount with custom stainless steel piece. Also shown are replacement signal lights, still not working due to voltage issue with LEDs (need to figure out how to install resistors I ordered but which so far have proven useless).

View from the top showing Danmoto 180 multifunction display, replacement bars and mirrors, and new brake line (wider bars required it!).

I like the curved taillight.

Your fuel cap assembly should be rotated 180º, hinge rearward. It's designed to drain water away from the assembly when it's correctly oriented. Start this video at 12:12.

Flexible LED stop / signal light from Dimecitycycles.com. Glad I paid more for the extra bright LEDs (most similar products on eBay have less bright low quality ones.)

A
look under the seat at the custom tubing done by my welder friend. Seat is hinged at front near tank, and seat angle can be adjusted at back by selecting different bolt holes.

Finished seat installation after frame mods.  Seat is 1.5 - 2.0 cm higher than I'd like.  May have it lowered later.

Seat received from boxerclasicas.com in Spain (they make custom seats for K100 cafe racer applications), prior to cutting frame loop.  Unfortunately I didn't like the seat height this gave me.  Will instead create a new seat frame above existing frame, as many others cafe racer projects have done.

Beginning to strip bike of parts and paint.  Working on headlight.  This was a first try using some cheap dual lights off eBay.  Poor quality, threw it out.  Decided to buy a '7" Black halogen Grill Headlight' from Speedmoto.com.

Early misguided attempt at just cleaning the bike up and painting it.  Wasn't satisfied, and after reading many cafe racer forums, decided to scrap this idea (not to mention all the hours and $$ of painting!), and go the cafe racer / scrambler route.  Then started stripping the bike of body parts and stripping paint down to aluminum tank ...
