Rode up to Orchard Beach State Park, one of my fiancee's favorite places. 134 miles one way, which is the longest trip we've taken together on the bike so far.
Chatted with an oilhead rider at the McDonalds in Manistee...he said he's been interested in getting a K.
Do aerodynamics get better with someone on the pillion? I filled up right before heading out on our trip and Fuelly says we got 46 mpg and we were running 75-78 mph for most of that tank, though we were doing just 60 for a portion of that (but not much). If I were running that speed by myself I'd get like 41.
I'll post in my other "Does your body really get used to it?" ergonomic thread tomorrow but I've used some of the suggestions given and I don't seem to be sore like I have been.
