Koso DB03-r and k1100rs 93
« on: December 29, 2015, 11:54:07 AM »
Hi everybody.
I'm building a scrambler from a k1100rs and everything for now work really good with my Koso but for the n-position
I need to pull the clutch when I start.
Now I Read there is 3 relay on k100 to put wire to the gear display circuit...but I don't know if is the samedi with k1100rs
There someone solved this thing?
Thanks
Gabriele

You can use the same circuit on a k1100.  It also works on a classic k1200, R1100, and R1150.

It's pretty straight forward to build but you should have soldering skills with the ability to work with fine wires, if you want the circuit to be as compact as possible.  This circuit can be built using 12V PCB relays with 1A rated contacts.  These relays are usually encapsulated and have wire terminals that can be connected using hookup wire.  The relay packages can first be glued together with epoxy to form the compact package and then the wiring installed.  Terminate the inputs and outputs into an inline connector that can be plugged/unplugged for servicing.  An example of a suitable relay; look for one local to you with these characteristics.
