Is this clutch serviceable?

As a reminder, this bike sat in storage for the better part of five years. I don't imagine it would matter, but it was dry and covered. When I cracked the clutch, this is what I found. I was able to remove all of the rust from everything that you see, but I am wondering if the friction surfaces are still serviceable. I measured the friction plate and it is well past the 5 mm mark, so I should be good there. My concern is the little bit of pitting that has occurred... Will it eat the clutch disc? Thoughts?

Were it me, I'd put new in then not have to think about it till the next spline lube.

Looks pretty cooked to me, sorry. Don't think glass beading will clean that up.

Thank you Gents. This whole "If it's worth doing, then it's worth doing right" mantra is getting pricey.

Question 1: I can stick with my old clutch housing and diaphragm spring, right?

Question 2: I'll only need the pressure plate, clutch plate and clutch cover, yes? I'm going to replace the ring that sits in the housing too I think; there were some flat spots in the current one.

Question 3: What are the lubrication points upon reassembly? The diagram in the manual sux.

On a side note, I'm having a blast doing this. Thanks for all of the info guys.

Off to the grocery store... Any aftermarkets? I looked at the alternate parts list, but it looks like I'm stuck for clutches.

At about 20k miles into my bike I found that my clutch had been replaced with an aftermarket friction disk. So THAT'S why I could never adjust it properly!

I purchased new pressure plates, a standard disk and the clutch nuts and washers from Motobins which was the best deal I found even with the overseas shipping.

If money's tight and you have time to possibly revert back later, go ahead and put the old crap back in. If it works you're all set. If the clutch starts slipping you'll need new parts.
