Are the left and right mirrors different?
« on: April 22, 2015, 03:26:22 AM »
I am missing my right hand side mirror on my K75s. It seems to be the short mirror with the rounded back.
I am seeing conflicting answers whether the left and right sides are interchangeable.

Does anybody know a definite answer?

greetings...

different...

the preferred mirrors of motobrickers everywhere are the ken sean superbike replica gpx mirrors... the glass is optically correct and are robust so they vibrate allot less than others...

right mirror ken sean # 901020...

left mirror ken sean # 901010...

i putts a set of these on the brickus turkus... i drilled out the original mirror holes with a 11/32" drill then tapped them  with a 10mm x 1.25 tap... there wasnt much meat to drill... there was not much meat to thread... went slow and got it right... only 1 chance with the oem holes to getts them drilled and tapped...

they are amazing mirrors... 100% pro in every way... wow... do your doo dillergence...

here they are... with the fit system blind spot deal on there... i would go with 1 size smaller and put top inside instead of bottom inside...

Thanks Johny, those are nice mirrors especially for the price, but if I wanted to keep my stock one I have, and just replace the missing one, I still don't know if I need one specifically for that side or if they are interchangeable.

Is the thread direction is different maybe??

I'm pretty sure they are interchangeable. I just put the right mirror from one bike on the left side of another one and seems fine to me.

Sorry -- I don't have the same mirrors -- I have the round ones. So I can't say for sure about yours.

He is talking about the round ones.  As far as I know, they are interchangeable.  You just swivel the head 180 degrees.

Your round mirror looks different to my round mirror, but should be swappable. Try yours on the other side.
