Has anyone gotten any more info on being able to interface with Gear Indicator on the KOSO unit that Rodova was referring too? I know RBM was working on a new unit to work with the Koso, just curious how far he got with it.

Lots of useful information so far.

Noob here, as I just got an '89 K75C and learning as much as I can while tinkering with the beast.

My new design will interface to the KOSO style Ebay instruments with built-in gear indication.  I've attached the user manual below; read through it to see if it works for you.

The board will not interface to the internal gear indicator available in select models of Acewell gauges (ACE-4X54 for example).  There is a clever program running on this aftermarket instrument that calculates the gear based on engine RPM and speed; it does not have any external connections for a gear indicator switch.

Hi Oliveri,

I sold out of the last batch of boards I made and just yesterday received the raw circuit cards for another batch of boards.  I can have one available for you, if you are interested.  Please PM me.

BTW, the user manual for the circuit is online on my Google Drive.

You can download the manual to read about the board, to help you make an informed decision.

Hi RBM

Is there any chance that some of these boards are still available?

I'm making no money on these, but making them available to support the community of K-bike owners.
Would you consider open sourcing the design and the code, then? :-)
