From the list at IBMWR.org, with a few annotations from me (wmax351).

These are the numbers that I saved. FWIW, I used the Standard injectors for ~$45 each. Definitely a good winter project. Smooth idle and really hits hard at 6 grand.

Hi

I just wanted to start a thread like this since I replaced injectors in my 1999 R1100GS with new original Bosch units EV14 0 280 158 038 237gpm - they are VERY cheap new at only appr 24USD apiece, and offer MUCH better atomisation then the original injectors that R1100 came equipped with /4 hole nozzle vs one hole/.
The new injectors really have transformed the bike - much better idle, quicker starting, MUCH better low rpm grunt and smoother top end running and cruise. The difference is VERY noticeable in the whole rpm range. I know the GS pretty well and the difference is not a Placebo.
Some adapters needed to be turned but this all went pretty well.

I thought about updating the system on the brick with the 4 hole injectors also but am a bit lost what should be the output in grams or ml per minute at 100% cycle.
There are ready made conversion kits but I read the people who used them returned to the original setup as the bike just reeked of petrol and both plugs and exhaust was sooty.

EV6 Bosch part number 0 280 156 433 - 440ccpm is the recommended injector /also 4 hole design/ but this is the one receiving the mixed reviews AFAIK.
I could adapt either EV6 or the EV14 /dont know if the plugs will fit - but there are adaptors/ but would need to at least have a ballpark figure of what to look for in terms of output.

ALSO - the R1100 system is sort of self learning and can lean out the mixture to compensate for the somewhat richer mixture. Will the brick do the same?

Cheers
