yawl... big hill lookout... rolling oughtta tracy... ksu 7am meet spot "a" fairfield tracy... rolling this route backwards so we can ride mosquito ridge on the incline... wentworth... wow... what can i say... one of the best moetoebricking roads anywhere... period... then ice house to big hill... this moefoe is 100% yeeeeehaaaa...

massive hole in rear tior on the tonzi trail between ione and amador...

took 2 mushrooms to fill the hole butts still leaking with 3 mushrooms...

luckily gotts a faint signal... aaa on the way...

we were deep in on a dirt road... walked it out under power using the clutch... near ca 124 now... flatbed on its way from ione...

the aaa contracted flatbed was there within an hour of the initial call... showed up with all the pro equipment... said never hauled a motobrick before... seldom anything other than lifestyle motos... said they are either breaking down or commencing to wrecking... said they scored that slick rolling wheel lock cause the lifestyle riders couldnt hold up their motos while he winched them up... 

so we made it back... rolled out my spare... all is good again...

this is the world famous tonzi trail... it connects the 124 to the 49... the goat way from ione to amador... was on our way to buffalo chips in amador for a buffalo burger and berry pie before heading to the mosquito ridge...




















































thats all for this deal... we have tomorrow off... gonna roll it out in its entirety tomorrow...

june 2011 clutch... Turkus was a witness to the final coup de grace on the trip to Iderhoe (above)

Looks like it was a lot of fun while it lasted!  Then the ol' girl literally keeled over and died on her way to the hospital....   interesting....  JO and I have logged thousands of miles together and nary a flat tire...  and it's gonna stay that way through the weekend!  :2thumbup:

It was a really nice trip up to that point (other than the Wikipedia debacle at lunch  :mbird).....
I could think of much worse place to be sitting by the side of the road for hours than McCall, Iderhoe..... :yes

this is ice house road... we were the only ones in there... it was glorious... you know when the mickster aints taking pictures she is hanging on... ha ha ha...











the big hill lookout... it clouded up and couldnt see very far... a few years ago we were up here on a clear day and could see mt tampalampas there by mill valley...
