The fisherman and the priest return home with their crews and everyone gets excited: The skipper has found paradise and people are starting to move to a place they are starting to call Havningberg. Since there is only stone in the area, it is decided to make the houses out of wood and heat them by burning wood that does not exist.

It's your clarity and detail in historical reporting that keeps me coming back to your site, Oma.  :laughing4-giggles:

I'm glad to hear that! There is a new series from Norway coming soon, before that many other stories... quite often including history!

Oma Aika,
With all the pandemic stuff and lock downs you seem to be enjoying travel and life (yes I am green with envy)!
Thanks for sharing!
