Martin Powersports Wooster OH
« on: July 03, 2013, 08:05:29 PM »
Local dealer told me to take my K75RT to Martin Powersports. Said he did good work at reasonable prices.   Jerry Martin, the owner, used to work for the dealer and is/was certified by BMW on Bricks.   Hourly Rate is $25.00 per hour which to me is very fair.
My experience using them was very good.  2thumbup:  Another local shop I tried when I got my K kept it for close to 6 weeks, charged $40/hr.     About $400 for parts and labor to replace the steering head bearings, fresh fork oil, new Lasertech front tire mount and balance, valve adjustment, TB sync, replaced vacuum caps, install quick disconnects on fuel and return line, lubed the clutch cable pivot points, readjust the clutch play and checked over the rest of the bike,.  He also answered my questions about adding gauges.

Me too.  Price included the tire.  I bought the disconnects from BB and had them ship to him to install.  Really nice person to work with.  If anyone needs/wants his contact info I will gladly provide it.

Martin Powersports is NO LONGER doing repairs. I believe he's selling accessories and vintage gear only.
