Sent them a parts request two weeks ago.  No reply.  They're either out of business or non-responsive.

Pars Haus is a breaker so I'm sure they aren't out of business.
Drake's father just passed the other day, he had been ill in the hospital, so I imagine he has been occupied with that.

In my experience, Parts Haus prefers phones over email.

Drake's the man to deal with. Honest, helpful and fair. And he knows his shite, supremely.

And yeah, it was me who screwed up an order - which he rectified. I still owe him a beer.

Got my new to me tank from Drake. I am very satisfied, emailed back and forth - his description of the tank was way understated. The tank was even better than described. Prompt shipping and communication.

Just curious, has there been another death in Drake's family?  Sent him a request over a month ago about some parts I wanted to buy, and so far no reply.  Does someone need to want a lot of high price stuff to get his attention?

I have a K100RS sitting in the garage with the front forks off waiting on him to let me know if he can sell me fork boots.  I'm thinking I'll have to get them elsewhere.

I bought some K75 crash bars from him last spring and it went OK once I was able to get a reply from him.  In my experience KBike Parts is not the place to go when you need something in a reasonable amount of time.

If you are just wanting protective boots aka "gaiters" for the stantions, get some rancho RS1952's from amazon. Less than $5 each.

I talked to someone who knows Drake and he said Drake is fine but is not doing the kbikeparts.com thing anymore and is no longer in Seattle. Kbikeparts.com hasn't been updated since April 2014. I sent him a message about something about a month ago at the email addy on kbikeparts.com and got no reply -- so I think it's safe to say Kbikeparts.com as a resource is sadly no more.

I was very satisfied with my dealings with The Parts Haus. Found Joshua to be a square shooter. This was just a couple of weeks ago. I recommend them. No affiliation here, just a satisfied customer.

Well, that sucks.

If there ever was a reliable source for K-Bike info it was frankenduck.  :old guy:

I'd bet he'd know where to find a cut-out template to use on a belly-pan so it would fit around tip-over bars.  :bang-head:

I have placed a couple orders from k bike parts and have received no reply is it out of business? The contact person is smithduck@gmail.com and it has been a week now with no reply. How do I get a right pegplate if they don't answer? :mbird
