On my K100/K1200RS engine swap I used a 95 K1100 fuel injection harness, and a K1200RS Motronic computer. The plug on the harness and computer are physically the same, but the pin in/outs are in different locations. I can't remember if the wire colors used are the same for both models.You would need a wiring diagram from both models to make sure you get everything right. There are also map coding wires used in the K1200RS that need to be correct for the bike to run right. I wanted to retain the looks of the standard K100, so I kept it's wiring harness and instruments. On K100's and K1100's, the fuel injection harness is separate from, and plugged into, the main chassis harness. On a K1200, it is all in one.
