I got to test sit on the K1600GTL today.

Was picking up a part at Ride West and they just got theirs yesterday/today.  No demo rides until next week but I did get to sit on it and rev it a bit.  Yummy..... 8)
Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.

I got to demo one a couple of weeks ago. Very impressive.

Caught a brief glimpse of both models at South Sound BMW yesterday - inbetween the "guest rides" they were offering.
I'll have to go back to "drool another day"...... :(

Couldn't get too close but I did notice the MASSIVE mufflers on both  :o, I wonder how much those puppies weigh ??
You can get more with kind words and a REALLY BIG gun, than with just kind words...trust me

Regrettably the damn things aren't going to be in this part of Oz until round the end of June according to the local BMW shop. But I picked up brochures today, and got prices; GT -> $37697 and GTL -> $39777. Didn't ask but I'll bet they aren't on road costs, so for the GTL we can add registration and compulsory third party insurance $496, stamp duty on the purchase price of $1532 and $21 for the number plate. Grand total of $41826. I'm gonna have to do some real fast talking if I want to try and get that past the Board of Control :-)
