I've had this 1995 K75 since 2013. It gets workouts on Vermont's graveled backroads and tar-snaked asphalt, with an occasional run down the eastern seaboard. 27,000 miles were on it when I bought it. I removed its aftermarket windshield. I've installed a chromed Flanders sidecar handlebar, R100GS hand guards (removed after 10 years), OEM tank pads, Rancho 1952 boots on the front tubes, a YSS MZ366-350TRL-01 rear shock absorber, and it now has a Cortech Super 2.0 18 liter tankbag. I cleaned the headlight lens inside and out then aimed it high enough to give satisfactory vision down the road using a stock halogen but just low enough to keep oncoming traffic from flashing at me when it's in low beam, most of the time anyway. I feed it a steady diet of 89 octane (AKI) E10 gasohol, 20W50 mineral oil, 80W90 transmission fluid and now riding on TKC 70 rubber. It's run well even up to the point when I've vacuumed gravel out of the air box.

Six months of the year, it's stored in a frigid north-central Vermont garage/workshop with its battery fully-charged from its last ride of the season, a tank full of E10 fuel conditioned with Sta-Bil fuel stabilizer, and its battery ground strap disconnected from the transmission. When I reconnect the ground strap in spring, it starts right up. I installed a new AGM 18ah battery this summer; the last one of this type survived 8 years.

Handsome-looking ride, Bob. The sight of it makes me want to treat my bike to a spa day. I hope you can pile plenty of miles on it. Of course, if you were doing that on all your bikes, you'd probably only have enough time at your pleasant home to read your mail before you'd have to get going again :riding:

Here is my new to me K100RS.  It has less than 29,000 miles on it of which I have added less than 100 miles so far, but that will change.

Hello Brickers!

Just jumped into the BMW world last summer and loving it so far...:yes could be cheaper at times, but hell, you can always make more, right?

this forum has been a great help so thought it only right to post some pics.

"Ruby" has about 54k on her which ain't bad for an 88'. Had an 81' Suzuki 550 back in college, but pretty new to all this otherwise... good times.

Between those two, Chaos, I'd choose the one that doesn't have a sticker on its side with printing so small that drivers would need to broadside or sideswipe me to read it, once they finished texting, that is.

I am grateful for folks who like the Givi cases.  I sold the 55 liter Givi Maxi Dumpster that came with my RT to a guy with a GS so I could get one of them iconic 22 liter cases.
