Question - looking at all these nice RS Bikes, is the rear half of the K11RS Front fender a straight swap for the LT one?  Much cleaner, and no need to fiddle with the fender to get at the calipers.

Yes. You might want to go some fork reflectors too.

A classic.  What is that thing down by the left front brake caliper?

I'd guess that it's the registration label holder that some places require you to have. AU ones used to be round but that was aeons ago, then they were rectangular and now, in at least my state, they are no longer required due to the coppers having onboard tech to check from your registration plate.

Close, but no cigar. Its the proof of road tax has been paid, which needs to be openly displayed on every vehicle here in the UK. Cheers, Rene.

Same thing like wot I said :-) Registration label here used to be the confirmation that your vehicle was currently paid up in respect of registration (or licensing, or road tax, or whatever name the guvmint puts on it) and third party insurance fees.

The tank cover idea had to grow on me a little. Once I got use to it I felt it did complement the bike.
I always liked this style K Bike. I would rather ride then clean.
Next cleaning might be a detail job from a local detail guy.
