Day 1 - NYC to Trout Run, PA

Wow, only 14 miles from my abode dude.

Had I known, I would have piloted the K 75 north for a visit.

PS: run into any gas drilling traffic gaggles ? The water trucks SUCK, hard to get around them even on a BMW.

I am really enjoying your blog.  We traveled some of those same roads last year riding to the rally in Bloomsburg. Love the breakfast description  - rancid, oh my!

Joe,

I'm enjoying the hell out of your posts.   Great writing, nice photos, really enjoyable stops, scenery and people.   Excellent all the way around.  To say I'm jealous would be an understatement.  Keep it coming and excellent work.

Dang. Thanks sh00ter you just made my day. This old brick has changed my life to say the very least. I was going to sell her at the end of this trip but I think were are going to be together for quite some time. I would not have been able to complete this journey without this forum. That's not hyperbole either! I didn't know about the altitude plug until I came to this board. Learned a ton of maintenance tricks too.

Awesome job on the trip and the writing Joe. I certainly enjoy the pictures and people stories and I really appreciate the 'hard questions' you toss around and wrestle with in the context of this pasttime we all enjoy so much.

Ride safe.
