The seller  of the K100 said  he had someone local who was on fire to buy it, and without actually seeing and riding it I wasn't 100%, so I said sell it. I saw a clean looking  94 R1100RS on fleabay [70K mi.] for $1800 BIN . The seller only lived a few blocks from my brother on Miami Beach. My brother looked it over , took it for a test ride , and gave it the thumbs up. So a deal was struck.  I know I don't need 2 bikes, but was looking for something with a little more HP and a little different. Hope it fits the bill. It came with the side bags, not city.cases though. . Does that rear case make it's butt look big?

It does give it a buttocular look. In some cultures that is attractive.  112350

Congratulations. I've always liked the looks of those. The early models had a reputation for surging at low speed but it's in their electrical genes, not a dire symptom of mechanical doom. The two owners I know ignore it. It's like living with tinnitus.  :laughing4-giggles:

I won't get down there for a couple of weeks to get it, but will report when i do. I like the looks too. My brother said  it looks as good in real life as the pics. He thinks I scored. We'll see.

I thought it came with a weber grill.  Nice bike, though.  Welcome to the boxer club!

What is a good forum for these R's. I probably will have some questions.
