Long time to own a bike, mine could use a good revitalization too, at least cosmetically.  What happened with the original engine, they're usually pretty bulletproof?

Orig motor stopped pumping water. So I tore it down “a little”, I’ve had half a dozen bikes and been wrenching since my teens. I got an 85 motor EBay and I’ll mess with orig one later. Dad passed 20yrs ago and left quite a few tools in Moms garage and a lift too. I’m down here quite often, it’s 5hrs from my home. I’m thinking about changing rear susp to the new horizontal setup I’ve seen. I've already put progressive springs in forks yrs ago. The turbo setup from RB racing always gets my attention. I put a turbo on my Toyota Tundra 5yrs ago so I’m a little partial.

-input on suspension is welcomed-
