My (not so) new K1100RS 93'

Hello! I recently moved to Poland and couldn't resist to acquire this K1100RS 93' after selling my F800R 11' back in Mauritius Island.
I plan to strip it of and make it a flat tracker style after following the thread of a young Hawaiian folk how transformed his Red K100 in his garage.

attached is a picture of my (not so) new baby!

I will need your guidance folks to help me give this beauty a clean and retro look :)

Every time I see someone stripping a K1100RS in the same color as mine, it ends up being overseas, haha (cost of shipping way higher)

It already has a clean retro look, however if you must chop it up, do a search as there are others that have gone that route and have posted their adventure.

Are you referring to this one? It's a K75.

Trust me the picture looks much more clean than real! lot of scratches, cracks, riveted metal on the inside... nobody would take them even for free

I got it for a very fair price from someone who inherited it from his grandpa' :) kept falling due to the size and weight of the beast - the front brake system need a clean up, the battery is dead and the plastics deserves to be recycled - I will keep the tank for sure and maybe the tail but the rest is in really bad shape :(

It already has a clean retro look, however if you must chop it up, do a search as there are others that have gone that route and have posted their adventure.

I knew I would hear this :) I will do a search and see what part of their route will help me to achieve the look that fits me :)

Yes! I was amazed how the final result looked like! :)

I don't plan to go for an expensive build with japanese inverted forks, modified rear suspension system or even with a moto gadget something clocks - something relatively simple and clean - I must say that my worst nightmare is to only think about how to attach a small universal speedometer to it :S

But the one in the second photo does seem to have a toilet paper dispenser so how much more customizing would be acceptable?

dumb question....or maybe not..

what the hell is the difference between a cafe racer, street tracker, street fighter, scrambler, etc, etc, etc.  everyone's "individual" custom hoop chopper looks identical to the others with just a different label.  seems like a standard formula.
