instrument cluster bulb voltages?
« on: August 30, 2019, 10:55:56 AM »
Would you please tell me the voltage for the bulbs inside of the instrument cluster?
I would assume 12 Volt DC, but I don't want to fry anything testing bulbs.
Specifically I am looking for the voltage of the backlight bulbs, and the 4L ad 7L low fuel lights.

They should all be rated for a 12v system.
I've not seen any components in any of the electrical schematics that would lower the voltage specifically for any lamps.
I know that the electric components specification table for my bike, all lamps are rated for 12vdc. Granted some have different wattage ratings, physical shapes and such but still they are all intended for 12vdc.
