Is that for a Dakar race?  You gotta finish to win those races, and I can't think of a machine with a better chance of finishing. 

Unlike the cappuccino racers this bike has a very clean sense of purpose about it.   I would have put a 21" front wheel on it and a bash plate.  Wire wheels with tubes, those alloy wheels weigh too much.  Also would have used a K75 engine. 

Still, I'd feel pretty foolish riding it on my daily commute.

Odd that they would pick a K to pay homage to the R80GS.  I guess that couldn't use an R because BMW already has a R1200 imitation of the R80GS.
