clutch spline engine support?
« on: August 22, 2019, 06:37:15 PM »
Would someone please (re-)post the plans for the wooden engine support to use while doing a clutch spline job?

I don't happen to have a "BMW hoist 00 1 510" like the service manual calls out.

Since I've got a Harbor Freight motorcycle lift, I can't easily get a motorcycle jack underneath the oil pan.

Anton Largiader has his process just using the center stand and a simple support for the swingarm.

Thank you. That's helpful for the final drive spline lube.

I'm looking for and engine support to do the clutch splines (pulling back the transmission).

Use a scissor jack to raise the engine. They're found in old japanese cars everywhere.

Box dimensions.

I wept because I had no radials until I met a man who had no splines.
