Didn't Tim Tyler have a setup like that on his K75 to carry his camera gear?

Tim's bike looked like something the forest fire service might have.  I wish it were mine.

Tim put a Hepco and Becker side case rack on his moto then installed top-loading aluminum cases onto it. MB.C member Mongrel bought the rack. The H&B distributor, MotoMachines, indicates those racks are Out-of-stock, Place your backorder now. Not likely. :giggles

Tim was inventive with his remodeling and, like TMG indicates, created an appealing and practical solo machine.

And then he went over to the dark side.

And then he went over to the dark side.
Only by accident, though. :giggles
