It's heavy for a first bike, and once you get it running, lot's of slow speed practice at a school parking or DMV lot will build confidence. My inseam is 30", and if I don't wear heeled boots, it's tip-toey at stops, so paying attention to the road camber is important. There might be MC Safety/Beginner/Refresher courses at a local college, which I recommend ... I've ridden since the 70's and still take a course now and then to stay up on skills.
