I'm "in". If anyone wants to meet at my place (intersection of 228 and 229, Berry Rd and Bennsville Rd), I have a route that takes backroads to Cobb, with a short section of 301 Hwy. Same route we ride bicycles on.  Pre-ran it, and there's no construction. Cheers

Sunday's forecast looks a bit bleak, with rain.

Saturday is suppose to be sunny all day. That's the 13th. Any opinion's, as I don't ride in the wet unless multi-day touring.

Would be over 700 mile round trip for me. If I had the time to take off for a few days I would make the run but.....
I think you can count me out.

We'll crack a crab for you Caveman! Doing a "covered bridge" tour through your neck of the woods would be fun too.

I could do Saturday, but let's wait and and see. weather.com says, "PM showers" but fact is no one can forecast 6 days in advance this time of year anyway. They're just pulling lots out their butts.

I'm good to ride if partly cloudy chance of showers. 18 years in Seattle... you don't ride in the rain = you don't ride.

Latest wx forecast I see for that area puts the rain in the early AM while here they are calling for T-storms mid-afternoon through early evening.  Next Tuesday looks to be sunny.

I guess we'll make a call on Friday?

That would be a bit of a ride for a Sunday.

It looks not so good for the weather all weekend. Do we want to call it and reschedule?

I'm out.

I will ride in the rain but don't enjoy it and it looks like it will be wet with possible t-storms most of the weekend for me.

It will have to be later.

OK, we'll try again for a better weather window. Southern Maryland is a bit fickle this time of year.

I'm committed 2nd and 3rd week of June, but everything else is OK. The DFG dredge showed a 60% increase in the crab population from last year! Fingers crossed the price for a dozen Jimmies drops a bit.

Just got back from Morton's BMW Spring Fling at Natural Bridge VA, great riding and good group.

Let's try again that weekend, I'm good with that weekend before heading to NC for the annual Gathering of the Clans Airhead rally and then on to the MOA National.
