I'm definitely good for Sunday the 2nd. If my wife gets back on Friday, then Saturday is possible too ... for now, she's suppose to fly back Saturday.

Let's do it.

Just let me know the location of choice and time and I'll be there, wx will be warm but a good ride from here.

1030 at Capt. John's on Sunday. I'll be there. If anyone wants to ride down from the 210/Berry Road area to Cobb Island, I know a secondary road route that follows Rt 6 and Riverside Roads to the Newburg intersection.
PM and I'll give you the meet point, say 0900-0930ish?

It'd be neat to see how many K75's we can get next to each other.

No message received.  Send me a PM with your email address.

Not sure where you will find a tire in the local area, possibly at Cycle City.

don't know what route you are taking, but there are three bmw dealers in the DC area.  Bobs north, MOD west and Mortons south.  they probably can get a tire.

Caveman: there's also a beemer dealer in norfolk/chesepeake area, Adventure BMW.

Yes, Adventure BMW is in Chesapeake but I have never found them to have anything I need for my Airheads or Bricks so be sure to call ahead if you are looking for a tire.

I do have a tire changer in my shop but we're running out of time to find a tire.

The local shop here (White Plains) has a large selection. I had them install tires recently, and they did a good job; however, Morton's (Fredricksburg) is a lot closer to you on the way north.

Stopped at a shop just east (15 miles) of Santon VA, Wayne's cycle. Thay had a Dunlop 505 so I pulled my wheel off in the parking lot and took it to the service desk and they said they may not be able to get to it today. That was at 9:15 AM! Pissed me off so I left. I'll go to Bob's Monday if I need to.
Thanks for looking for me.

Holy Shite, I used to go to Wayne's for many spark plugs and pistons the 2-strokes would eat, way back in the 70's! Best part was the counter girl had, ahhhhh, HUGE attention getters. She's probably in her 70's now ;)

Hmmm... I think Wayne's is in Waynesboro, near Staunton VA, that sucks they could not take 30 minutes to make an easy sale.  My youngest daughter went to college in Staunton.

Don't know about Bob's but any interaction I've had with Jeff Massey and the staff at Morton's in Fredericksburg has been positive.  Give them a call.

I was planning 210/224/6/425/durhan Church Rd/6/chapel pt Rd. As a route down there.  You along that route or have a better way?

I'm 3 miles off the 210. The 228/Berry Rd is the main road that intersects with Bennsville Rd at the second stoplights. I'll PM you my address. The route is really close to mine, except for some zigs and zags through Pomfret. Cheers!

great to meet everyone!

had four brickers.   caveman, natelena, stokester and me.  those arriving from the south got there on time...those of us coming from the north found a few too many nice roads and were a bit late...ooops.

sorry for bad pic, but a least some evidence that four different color K75S's were in the same place for lunch on a nice day!
