New guy from London Ohio
« on: February 26, 2019, 07:17:11 PM »
Hello all, I just picked up my first BMW motorcycle. She's a 1985 K100ST with 75,000 miles on the clock. So far I'm still getting hre tuned up after sitting idle for 3 years but she doesn't run half bad.

Welcome! Thanks for the photos. Be sure to make full use the Repair Guidance section and the site's search instructions as you rehabilitate your moto. Good luck with it.

Nice looking bike!  Gonna be a sweet long distance runner.  The miles have been kind to it so far.

Welcome, and great looking brick. The rear shock is really a nice touch. Euromotoelectric, Max BMW, and Motobins are your friends for parts. Good luck getting her back to the road.

Unfortunately that rear shock needs rebuilt so I need to find someone that can do that since that company went out of business

It's worth calling Beemer Shop (831) 438-1100, as they work with suspensions and may be able to rebuild or point you in a good direction.
