Howdy from NYC, NY
« on: February 13, 2019, 01:46:57 AM »
Hello all! Have a Craigslist find 1993 K75S that needs some work. The old fuel routine is what I'm looking at.
Like to say thanks to the admins, mods and members for the great site.

Welcome aboard. Good on you for getting straight to addressing the fuel system refresh. Let us know when the brick cranks over, and post a pic. There's something enjoyable about working on bricks that doesn't translate to other vehicles...it's just "fun." Good Luck.

Howdy from The Great State Of Alabama!

Work your way through the troubleshooting guides and you’ll have a running brick soon.

IMHO, EME is a good place to start for a new pump and damper.

Hi

Enjoy the ride. The work is half the joy of the destination.

What work does it need that you know of.

welcome!!!! This is a great community and I hope that you find it helpful as you get your brick in good shape.

This comment struck me as quite true. Why is the the case? Perhaps since everything is so easy to get to, we can focus on the joy of maintenance and repair instead of the pain of getting to the component. A well thought out design. (no intention to thread jack)

I've found that doing maintenance and working on my Brick is a lot like foreplay.  Approach it with diligence and attention to detail and the ensuing ride will be that much better.
