Shorai on k100 any one tried it?
« on: January 22, 2019, 11:42:17 AM »
Hi all, I was wondering if any one has tried a Shorai lfx19a4 on a k bike. Cca seems good and from my reaserch they seem good, apart from the odd melt down. The only thing that concerns me is the low charge rate at idle although I could set the idle higher. I need a small battery to hide away some where and the shorai is looking like number one at the mo, just can't find any conclusive proof it works on k bikes.

battery doesn't care what bike it is on...and the bike does not care where the juice is coming from.

as long as it has enough CCA to start it, its fine.

also look at antigravity and earthx LIPO's.

and yes, you need a special maintainer/charger for LIPO batteries.

Thanks for that as I'm looking at the earthx now. I shall ask another question, what is the lowest cca that works on the k. I read some where some one is using a 14ah but unsure on results

Here's what I found when I typed into my browser's search window Shorai site:motobrick.com. Instruction on effective searching can be found here.
