Hello, my name is Alex.
I recently acquired a 88 K75s from a friend unfortunately its  none runner (bad gearbox) but the bike is in not so good state. I got it as a project.
Hope to get some insight on the k series, get help and help where ever I can.

My day to day bike is a Suzuki SV1000 K3.

Welcome from The Great State of Alabama!

Don't hear too much about bad gearboxes and bricks. Clutches are a different issue. What is the problem?

Very good info. here on getting it back together and running.

Give us some eye candy and post a pic.

Welcome aboard. Have you started making a list of what you need to work on to get the brick past MOT? The knowledge base here is incredible.

it may be more cost effective to source a used gearbox (or engine if it needs major work) They're both robust units and generally outlive the bike, with so many on the market and low demand it keeps the price low.

What my friend told me was that he let the gear box dry. I try to move the shifter and it doest move. I'll open it up and see what the proem is and from there find what route I'll take

Welcome, Arthur! I live 570 miles from London but only 13 miles from Richmond. Are you experienced with gearbox assemblies?
