Greetings from Czech
« on: November 16, 2018, 06:13:50 PM »
Hi All,
I just bought my own flying brick K75S, just before the winter. So right now I'm just waiting for weather to get better :) It will take something like 5 months at best...
You can actually see my bike here it's video done by seller. Looks fine so I just hope all the stuff will be let's say OK. I was looking for something else at first, but somehow this bike got my attention and then I felt with love with it. So far I had not really chance to ride it since it was imported and all the paper crap had to be done before.

Spent time in Prague, and you have the best winter food ever! The street vendors with the gigantic deep fried chicken, slathered with mayonnaise, on the dinner plate sized buns ... Oh my, who cares if it's snowing, I'm holding 9000 delicious, fat dripping calories. Have fun with the brick, it's easier to work on when the weather won't let you ride anyway.

So after some small rides I finnally pushed myself and one evening decided that would be nice to sleep next day on the edge of Alps :) So I checked the nearest path how to get there and after packing couple of stuff, like sleeping bag, soup, tea, stove and that's all keep the things simple :). And in the afternoon I succesfully dispatched. Riding for around 6 hours at once I was quite exhausted but still, really thrilled when I saw the outlines of Alps in front of me for first time. After little bit of driving around (I did not have any map) I managed to find small road that seemed like dead end and then the stove, tea and sup come handy.

Tomorrow moring I decided to take little trip around and the head back to home, since I was scared of weather turning bad. On the way I saw arrow with label "Almsee" even that I don't understand german I know that see means lake so that sounded like nice thing to see. I headed that way to actually find amazing scenery, even more since I was there early in morning I was alone for a while.

It was wonderful trip and my K75s did not let me down any single time. Even I was little bit scared of this since I bougth this bike while ago and have not done proper inspection to find out if everything is fine. So after all I succesfuly arrived, tired, sunburned but happy back home :)

Sounds like a great trip!  Traveling alone on a bike is good for the soul.

The beauty of doing it on a brick is that you don't really have to worry about getting there or getting home.
