In collaboration with Zero Motorcycles, Ural might have an electric sidecar in a couple years.  I'm on the wait list https://www.imz-ural.com/electric/

Its traveling range should be interesting. That's for certain. Maybe there will be room in the chair for a gasoline-powered generator to plug the battery into for a recharge.

With it's, as of now, top speed of 88mph and cruise speed of 65mph, it still isn't a ride I'd want to take on the interstate to actually get places. Hopefully, with better battery tech and charge, the power will increase, and the stated 100mi range with 13hr charge cycle to 95% from flat will improve. Zero can certainly do better than this. Yep, I'm on the wait list too, and relayed several comments already. The speed relation may be limited by the crappy suspension that Ural doesn't seem motivated to update. :)

I'm looking forward to owning an electric moto. Zero is doing good work but I want more distance between charges. It will happen. I've wanted one of those critters ever since I watched this.
