184mph....on a bicycle!

Talk about girl power!  Towed up to 100mph then released and pedaled in the pocket of the tow car up to 184.  https://www.bicycling.com/news/a23281242/denise-mueller-korenek-breaks-bicycle-speed-record/ Gearing on bike made it impossible to pedal below 100.  Engineering on the bike is interesting, made some of the tubes with carbon fiber wrapped around fluorescent light tubes, then broke the tubes and reinforced with some more carbon.  https://www.bicycling.com/bikes-gear/a23305843/what-went-into-creating-this-record-breaking-bike/

She needs Yamaha upside down forks on that bike. Might have got it to 200.
