From Sweden
« on: August 20, 2018, 01:11:41 PM »
I found me a whitish brick with 130.000km on the odometer. I'm amazed how well everything works, no leaks, no peculiar sounds. The ride feels firm and nice, considering the mileage. I'm a bit worried though that she doesn't let out happy clouds even when she's been standing on the sidestand for a while. No oil left in engine?

How many other bikes can brag with 4-pot brembos, quite fat marzocchi fork, abs, paralever and efi on a bike from 1990? And all that for a price less than the value of a moped.

No, the mopeds aren't extremely expensive here, and yes, big bikes are quite cheap.

This really feels like a keeper! So many ways to mod it, for those who want. Can't decide which way I want it, so I might need to buy another one. Those bags are really useful! But you can't use bags on a scrambler.... Yep, I need at least one more K100.

Congrats on your fantastic find. I think the first mod I'd do for Sweden is a set of bright driving lights for the upcoming Autumn and decreasing light. Looks like your youngster is just as enthused about the new Brick too.

Fine looking machine!

I would not be too concerned about the lack of happy clouds when starting.  Mine seldom smoke at startup.

It's got the iconic 22L tailbox and a nice aftermarket muffler.  Damn near perfect machine just like it is!

It came with some more bags and a nano-tech-roven-carbonfibre cover, he said. Verrry expensive, he said.

Ah... Too late, sorry. Lord Helmet claimed it, using it as a tent now. Full of "keep out" stickers and such. It was a fine piece of cover indeed.

"nano-tech-roven-carbonfibre cover"  But is it bulletproof?
