BMW tragkorb key
« on: October 08, 2011, 10:48:00 AM »
Want to buy key #059 for the old style BMW tragkorbs.  It's for those locks with the tiny cover over where you insert the key; they're the ones that will have you pulling your hair out if you have to open them in the dark.

My bags are also a 059. I looked around town for a locksmith today, but couldn't find any that would cut a key like that. I'll head up to Nashville to check another my dad recommended but won't be able to get out there until Monday. Will get back to you then.  8)

Just checked mine, it's 069, but the dealer ordered it last year. Don't know the cost, since it was included with the bike and bags.

:P Oh well. I'll still check on getting duplicates made for future reference.

My bags are also a 059.

Can you take a close up picture of the key and post it here?  i have made several keys for both BMW and Givi locks, and re-tumbled cylinders so that all the locks use the same key--be happy to help you out here...
