It fits my current riding needs -navigating NYC traffic, very well. Narrow profile, relatively nimble and plenty powerful.
The prices on these bikes are so low - especially compared to airheads (I've had many Airheads over the years). The Ks are like well kept secrets!Still, I really feel like I lucked out paying $1300 for this one. Sure, it needs a few things: Fork seals weep a bit and the rear brake master cyl needs a rebuild (lever action notchy). The bike does have an Ohlin shock that should be rebuild at some point.I will also be looking for a stock seat. The Corbin it has now is in good shape but I always felt Corbins are too wide - trade anyone? :)Right now however, I'm totally enjoying it!
I have a BMW solo seat that came with my 1990 K75 off Cape Cod. The seat is in great shape, no cuts or rips. See pictures below. I'd be willing to trade for the Corbin. (I'd like to be able to take a passenger).
