Hello all. I've been riding BMW boxers for about 30 years now. I have never before owned a K bike. I picked up a super clean 94' K75ABS that was stored inside someones house for 19 years. The bike had 680 miles on it! Got it running and really love it. I have put over 1000 miles on it this season. My poor 94 R100 Mystic has been sitting,(but I still love it). I am impressed with this great old bike. Smooth and super dependable.

Congrats! I was afraid this was going to be a "how do I get this pile of crap running right" thread but you're apparently past that stage and enjoying that K the way they're meant to be enjoyed. I've had mine since new in 86 and it is still a pleasure to get on after riding other bikes. They hit a high water mark with the K75 series.

Getting it running required fuel pump, filter and lines replaced, fuel injectors cleaned, all fluids changed, and water pump seals.

Congratulations... I had contacted the seller, but it was too far out on the island for me. Great find, you can't erase miles!

Thanks all! :2thumbup:. My intent was to get it running and sell it, but I am so impressed with the K, I think I'll hang on to it a while.
