Introducing myself
« on: April 29, 2018, 09:04:33 AM »
Good morning, afternoon, or evening.  :euro

I was just browsing the web looking at where to source K100RS-V4 parts and this site popped up.
This is the second web page I have joined since I bought the BMW K100RS-V4.
So you'll see me around, snooping looking for hint's and tips on how to restore my new Horse, or for now she's called "Kay"
I hope at some stage I'll be able to return the knowledge I glean from the site. :deal:

Greetings from the northern realms. I would help if you put in the state and town whence thou resides.

Martin, State Added.  :2thumbup: I did have Whyalla on the bottom where the bikes resides.
Whyalla is just beyond the black stump so getting parts will be a challenge in its self.

Are you a booster of the cuttlefish-led city revival, Svenok?

Moto Bins and Motorworks from the UK, Beemer Boneyard in the US. Last year I ordered a set of brake discs from the UK on Monday and received them on Friday. Local parts prices are just ridiculous except for brake hoses.  :dunno I'm sick of having to sell body parts in order to buy local. :hehehe

I sympathise Martin but try living here - $630 for a pair of tyres - $400 for a battery - the list goes on, not to mention whatever I do source from elsewhere it costs me at least 50% extra in tax and shipping to land it in CR - the price of living in paradise is quite high at times!

I bet! The packaging must be a bother.
