Welcome, Jon!  Your background and experience will add a lot to the knowledge base here at the Motobrick.  I hope you will share what you know freely.
I will. (And as I told my two sons… “I taught you everything I know, and you still don’t know anything”)

Actually, I can be very precise, I was just a bit out of sorts with all of this stuff.   It’ll get better I promise.

But seriously, yes I’m happy to help if I can. Hope we can all get past this username deal, and move on to better pavement. I’m hoping someone of authority gets where I’m coming from and can put me back to Ironwrx. Then we can get back to bikes!! Thanks for your kind words.

Ok. But that’s not what I’m about. If there were some kind of administrator who could take one moment and take me seriously, then we could get this fixed, and get back to bikes. But no one seems to be able to fix this. I thought it was my typo, but in looking at several of the responses to this thread, I now believe this is part of the “roast” of the newbie.  The letter “t” is near neither the “n”, nor the “w”, therefore unlikely my typo. Well, I get it. It’s ok, but getting to be a bit of a bore. I know you’ve had your fun, but let’s move on to some new material.  - Ironwrx

It takes skilled booty to twerk with Chromium Steel.
No kidding. I remember watching a dancer named CroMolly down at the Leisure Lounge. Great moves but she was kind of a hardass.

Damn. Artists are soooooooo sensitive!

You did , admittedly, get your share of hazing as it were, for a newbie.  In these threads lie the key to life, and a little wrenching knowledge thrown in for good measure.  Glad you hung in there.  I am pretty sure you will be the better for it. In the years since I bought my brick, this site has been a complete roadmap of maintenance, repair, and  lots of entertainment and fun along the way. Welcome aboard! :2thumbup: :riding:

The typoist may have been using a Dvorak keyboard layout where t-w-n forms a vee. Who else, aside from myself, uses a Dvorak board?
