greetings...

lotts of nightmare stories about the 1600 in the beginning...  pre 14 is a no go for sure... the 16s were mostly addressed to be reliable... looks like they are competing with the 18 wing... same price points... no test ride cause of the weather... this k1600 grand america was $29 fully loaded...

I wanted to atatch a picture of my k100 and my brothers k1600 that I took today in NM. but could not figure how to do it. What I will say is if you have not road a "ride by wire" bike like the k1600 it is very different. I do not like the feel of it but it is crazy fast.

ride by wire, I had to look it up, kinda what I thought. seems like more electronics to go south.

Expensive?   I used to think so, then I got a little jaded.  I just spent the weekend in an MSF class held at a Harley dealership.  I think they had T-shirts that cost more.
