Hi All, just picked up an '85 K100rs and I have lots to learn...I've been riding and tinkering around with Honda's for awhile but started to really like the BMW's.
Hopefully you are patient with all my questions lol.

Cheers!

60F?? My wife wears sweaters and warm boots when it gets that cold here!

Right now it is 77 F and that feels quite fresh after a few days of 85 F.  We took advantage and went for a nice ride this morning for breakfast.  :riding:

Oh I agree 100% - much as I love it here the fact is that it is too hot for a brick.  I do most of my solo riding as early as possible - ideally between 6 am and  9 am.  If it was say 65 all the time i would never complain, once it gets over 85 this mad dog englishman keeps out of the midday sun!

Regards from Hamilton, Phil. I rode right through the winter the last two years...no problem. We were spoiled rotten. With this deep-freeze all bets are off. Supposed to warm up to 0 C in the next few days...warm up!  :hehehe It's not so bad, though. It'll make that first ride in late March/ early April all the sweeter. And my girls won't have that light dusting of salt.

Cheers! Great machines, no doubt.
