The Most Perfect Born-Again K100

Besides demonstrating advancements in computer voice synthesis and advancements in lightweight gear that make protection look like almost nothing at all, this video might also help those learning basic left hand piano chord technique.

Laitch I have been left speechless. I will now sign up immediately to the metal shop. That way I can convert my poor imperfect Brick into a work of perfection. I may also take music lessons and voice coaching. I do have one slight problem with this modification where do you put the croissants. :dunno

Love the 1950's BBC world service narration. It's got 4 coffee cup holders too. Something I didn't think possible on the K100. So why leave the rest of the airbox? any ideas.

I think that's become Martin's croissant warmer.

If it as thoughtfully engineered as the rest of the bike, it will hold three, to include a pillion rider and a prospective sidecar passenger—assuming gluten tolerance all around.

Perhaps, but the upcoming Michelin guide is rumored to still be rating it two stars for ambiance.

That video is so awful.

I really wanted to hearthe explanation for the fake air intakes but I couldn't last that far (if it even gets explained at all).

What's with the narrator's accent? He doesn't sound like any human being I ever encountered.

Don't forget the stubble. Plaid and Chinos always require stubble.    :2thumbup:

The image captures the utility encompassing the K-bike café racing milieu. A stripped K-bike is easier to push to the shoulder of the road where lighthearted camaraderie will permeate the ensuing discussion of how to get it started again.

Don't get me wrong. There is a lot of clever engineering on the rear seat/suspension set up and the work that went into the wire wheels must have been complicated. However its all a bit confused by the dummy plastic cups. They obviously wanted the four air filter look and then discovered how difficult it is because they had not bought the 16 valve or a K1100.
Is there something wrong with the original shock absorber set up?. I'm always a bit concerned that these major changes to the machines structure can not be load tested the way that BMW would have tested the original frame. And what is the benefit.

With cafes it's all about esthetics, and they seemed to think the original set up clashed with plaid shirts and stubble.  As for longevity, it survived shooting that video which is all that really matters.

I hate to admit it, but on further review I actually have something positive to say about this ridiculous waste of energy: This may be the first K cafe I've ever seen that gets the line from the bottom of the tank through the seat right. And like Chaos says, it's all about the esthetics.
