Judging from his videos of the past couple years I'm guessing he has some serious health issues.  Say a prayer for him.

That's good news.  But you have to admit, he's looked pretty rough the last couple years, and has posted some pretty philosophical non-motorcycle ramblings.  He's been dealing with something...

I hope he's okay.  He's a good guy, a straight shooter.

This man's legacy to owners of older BMWs is priceless. He has saved people a lot of money (both repair-wise and preventatively) and has inspired folks like me to tackle jobs that otherwise would have left me stranded. And he was pretty entertaining to watch, particularly his earlier videos. Chris' heart is clearly in the right place and he stuck up for basic consumer rights (of the BMW motorcycle sort) and with old-fashioned decency. Many of his clients wrote glowing reviews of their service experiences at AffordableBeemer Services.

God bless ya', Chris, and good luck with whatever your future holds!

I brought my K1100 LT over to him just after I bought it for him to check out...2013, I think. After him looking it over on the lift and going for a test ride, he didn't want to charge me anything because he said he didn't do anything. I gave him $50 anyway. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy.

I especially enjoyed his earlier vids (short hair, somewhat overweight). Informative and really funny, great choice of adjectives. His Oscar goes to his review of the K1200LT. I almost split a gut.

Good Luck Chris!

Thanks for that Gryph! I just stumbled on this now.  Good to know.  And especially that he is healthy.
