Hello All!

Looking to trade my front fairing + lights from my '86 K75C with the minimalist headlamp setup, like on the naked K75. Fairing is in good shape, with a large paint blemish on one side and a serviceable original windscreen. All lights and hardware are in good working order.

Thanks,
Ian

My guess is he's looking to trade his current bikini fairing for a naked headlight/instrument cluster assembly like so:

He'll confirm or deny later. :giggles

Laitch is exactly right! Thank you! Is there a name for that particular setup, and did it come standard on any K-series bikes?

Look! There it is, in the MAX BMW parts fiche! It's a miracle!

You'll need other parts, too but I think you can find them in there.

Is this a joke? I offered that exact setup to you for trade, you said you wanted a aftermarket headlight bucket, blinkers, and speedo...

Have you changed your mind?

BrickMW,

Hey now, I'm not joking! The pictures you had sent me were of a setup with a one-piece, integrated plastic shroud over the bucket and gauges, and that wasn't quite what I was looking for (wrong color, too  :giggles ). You also looked at the fairing setup I am offering and told me that you weren't interested. With all due respect, please PM me to say things like this!

Laitch,

Thanks for letting me know that was standard equipment. I'm learning a great deal more about these bikes every day.

Oh... wrong color. My apologies.

Maybe update your post title to reflect the specific color you desire.

Actually the better idea might be to order the $52.08 part you want and start a new thread "FS - K75 bikini fairing" with detailed pictures and an asking price.
