Johnny Blanket the Plenum
« on: May 08, 2021, 05:34:02 PM »
Winter in Montana was longer than expected, so the tank to the injectors got a rehab and rebuild. Covered the plenum with extra thermal blanket from another build, and it does measure cooler, although there's no noticeable power difference. Injectors from Mr. Injector, EME provided throttle bushings and clamps, Motobins had the fuel sender O-ring and fuel lines, and sourced other bits local.

The blanket looks like a work of art. Can you post a picture of the plenum installed?

Thanks, the fiber blanket was easier to mold around curves than expected. I left the external face of the plenum uncovered since it's in the fresh air. All the best parts of the rebuild,  you can't see ;)
Sidebar: the battery got a blanket too, along with tank and seat

Josie's really fastidious. When I polished part's, I'd ask "good enough?" And she'd reply "ruff" nearly everytime.
